Cristina is a native of Colombia who began her degree in International Business in Bogotá, Colombia. However, she moved to Houston, Texas in 2000 where she received her mayor at the University of St. Thomas. While in school, Cristina worked for a year and a half in the furniture business in Houston managing daily financial operations and import transactions. After receiving her degree in International Studies and Business, she started her professional experience working in the oil industry as a cross-cultural consultant and marketing specialist.
During this period, Cristina researched and conceptualized marketing plans to target prospects in Latin America using such variables as competitive technologies, pricing, profitability and customer analyses. She also analyzed the social and business ethic of various Latin American countries and managed the cross-cultural training of employees and families making their transition within this region. Before joining Romano Consulting Group, she worked closely with the Director of the Houston Mayor’s Office of Boards and Commission in their efforts to improve cultural relations within the City of Houston.
Currently, Cristina is working as the Director of Special Projects for Romano Consulting Group taking the lead in different assignments including the coordination of RCG operations, benchmarking projects and marketing development.
